Trial Shows Holloway Original Dihydrate Outperforms Anhydrite Alternative During the 2019 season, Holloway’s agronomy team conducted a Gypsum trial on a customer almond orchard to test the amount of plant-available calcium from various forms and amounts of Gypsum. This test plot consisted of a 77-acre block of almonds divided into five sections, each consisting of a dozen rows of mature, full-producing trees. The trial showed Holloway Original Dihydrate Gypsum maintained or improved calcium tissue levels, outperforming Anhydrite alternative that saw decreased calcium as season progressed.
