Looking back at Holloway’s 90 years working in Central California, we see a technological evolution first-hand in our photo archives. Back in the 1930s, 40s and 50s, Holloway spread gypsum and other soil amendments with pickup trucks that were outfitted with spreading mechanisms on the beds.
This month, Holloway officially celebrates its 90th year in business. Today, as part of an occasional series entitled "90 Years & Still Growing ..." highlighting Holloway and California ag history, we look back at our founder and celebrate the early days of H.M. Part of three generations of Holloway employees, Terry celebrated 50 years of service on Dec. 18; He will remain with company as senior advisor (April 19, 2022) – Holloway President Vard Terry has announced his retirement after 50 years with the company. Water sampling has helped growers identify Chloride, Sodium issues this spring Spring is here, and with another dry winter, California growers are irrigating sooner rather than later again this season.
