DID YOU KNOW: “Producers use gypsum for high yield and quality in alfalfa and corn?”
This according to Progressive Forage Grower:
“Gypsum does a very good job of providing both sulfur and calcium that helps grow healthier alfalfa and corn,” farmer Shawn Gibbs told the magazine. “If you have a healthier plant, then you have better-quality feed.”
In addition to gypsum’s nutrient benefits, Gibbs said he is convinced that subtle soil chemistry changes are important in the yield equation. “I thought that gypsum was a missing piece of the puzzle (to increasing yields).”

THE HOLLOWAY DIFFERENCE:
Holloway’s organic and naturally occurring gypsum, Calcium Sulfate Dihydrate (CaSO4+2H2O), with the additional water molecules, makes it more water soluble than Anhydrite (CaSO4) and other alternatives.
Along with improving calcium/sulfur levels, Holloway’s Dihydrate gypsum goes to work immediately upon coming in contact with water, increasing nutrient and water holding capacity, reducing the harmful effects of salts, and other issues that plague California soils and irrigation sources.
